We are looking for 10 farms who want to form a community of practice
Does your farm generate less than $25,000 per year in revenue?
Are you seeking to understand your farm’s economic potential to contribute to your household expenses?
Are you getting what you want out of your small farm?
How do you want your farm to contribute to your family and your lifestyle?
Knowing how limited and valuable time is, we are putting together a 3-session series where you will craft a holistic farm financial plan that is driven by your goals for your farm.
Each session is 90 minutes and takes place via Zoom. Extension staff are available between sessions to help you complete the steps of a simple farm financial plan that can help you predict revenue, expenses, profitability, and whether you will have the economic resources needed to cover bills when they are due. Our desire is for participants to form a community and form lasting relationships that extend beyond the course. Participants who seek assistance implementing record keeping or financial analysis can apply for grant funds after completing this course.
If you need an accommodation to participate in our programming, please contact Kendall Kunelius, kendall.kunelius@unh.edu, prior to the event. Given ample time, we will make any reasonable effort to meet your needs, including language access services if requested, which will be provided free of charge.
