For: 4-H Youth ages 12 and up

Cost:  Free

Learn how to design objects for 3-D printing using Tinkercad, free online software for creating simple three-dimensional designs. You will learn the basics of navigating a 3-D workspace, design tools to create 3-D shapes and how to export those designs so they can be 3-D printed. Once you master 3-D design in Tinkercad, you will be well positioned to move onto advanced 3-D design software such as Fusion or Blender. In addition to learning how to design simple 3-D objects, we will explore the nature of making and design to solve problems and make useful objects.

Workshop access will be available using Google Classroom. Participants must have a laptop with a mouse and camera, working email, and internet access. Access to a 3-D printer, while helpful and fun, is not required.

If you need an accommodation to participate in our programming, please contact Claes Thelemarck, 603-447-3834  and claes.thelemarck@unh.edu prior to the event.
