Calling all sky watchers and star gazers! Join 4-H volunteers and the NH Astronomical Society to explore and learn to navigate your way around the celestial sphere!

 This adult focused star party is for anyone with an interest in the night sky. We welcome people with all levels of experience. During the star party we will:

  • Learn how to use a perpetual star map (planisphere)
  • Identify constellations with the naked eye and binoculars
  • Identify planets and learn how to tell the difference between planets and stars
  • Observe objects beyond our solar system like star clusters and galaxies

 Dress for the weather and bring whatever snacks, hot drinks will help keep you comfortable. Rain date will be May 16.
