Join us for an informative and engaging conversation with Christine Schadler, M.S., a sheep farmer, educator, and canid researcher who successfully learned to live alongside coyotes during her 18 years of raising sheep.
Christine will begin with a brief presentation sharing her experience, research, and practical insight into managing sheep in today’s landscape, where coyotes are a common presence. Following the presentation, attendees will take part in a group discussion focused on local concerns, real-world challenges, and effective solutions — some of which may surprise you.
This program is a great opportunity for farmers, livestock owners, landowners, and anyone interested in better understanding coyotes, livestock protection, and coexistence strategies.
If you need an accommodation to participate in our programming, please contact please contact Katrina McKay, katrina.klobucher@unh.edu and 603-617-2677, prior to the event.
