This Excel workbook is a tool for farmers that generates a cash flow budget, beginning and ending balance sheets, and a farm income statement. It further links the information contained in these financial statements to a benchmark analysis report. Additionally, there is a labor worksheet which projects the cost of labor for the farm.
The intended audiences are farmers and consultants familiar with both farm finance and Excel. General instructions appear on the first sheet of the workbook. This workbook was developed as part of Northeast Risk Management project, supported by USDA Risk Management Agency and USDA/NIFA under award number 2015-49200-24225.
