The Pickle Project Workshop #2 at Cornucopia Project Farm

Looking for something to do that is hands on, fun, and educational this summer but couldn't get to our first workshop in Goffstown?  How about joining us for the "Cucumber to Pickle" Project out at Cornucopia Project Farm in Peterborough on Friday June 28th! Learn to grow your own cucumbers and learn how they plant and grow cucumbers on a farm! Later in the summer you will be shown how to make your very own pickles and have the opportunity to enter a jar into this years Hillsborough County Fair!  New Hampshire 4-H offers program pathways as a way to create sequential learning experiences that sparks interest, builds mastery of skill, and grows true leaders. Each county specializes in their pathways for the needs of their youth and families, while aligning with the National 4-H Mission Mandates (Healthy Living, Citizenship, and Science). Through this project each member will learn, and grow their very own cucumbers and will document it at the end of the summer they will get a chance to turn those cucumbers into delicious pickles!
