10:00 – 3:00 Water Crossings, Structures, Design, Installation
We will visit some of the water crossings that have been damaged, or completely destroyed, by the high waters from some of the recent extreme weather events.
Discussions will include previous structures and what resulted from the high-water events, as well as design, funding, permitting, and installation of repair/replacement.
Other topics to be discussed: Road maintenance, ditch construction, cross-drain culverts/structures.
We have all heard some of the effects of these weather events. This workshop will provide insight into some of the steps taken to re-open these travel routes and attempt to avoid similar occurrences in the future.
Morning refreshments will be provided at the meeting location. (Coffee, muffins)
Lunch is on your own as we will be at various locations along the road system.
Event is co-sponsored with NHTOA and NH Fish and Game.
