Thinking about applying for a grant this winter but need some support? Join UNH Extension for Growing Your Grant: Farmer Grant Writing Support Workshop. This event provides targeted technical assistance for farm businesses writing their own grant applications. Participants will have the opportunity to work on current applications with individualized support, receive feedback on proposal components, and gain a clearer understanding of grant requirements and best practices. Designed to support farms of all shapes and sizes, at any stage of the application process.
We’ll start the morning by walking through common components of grant applications and review what can set a winning application apart from the rest. After this presentation, we’ll host an open work session –time where farmers can finish up an application, get feedback on completed applications, or start fresh on a new application.
RSVP appreciated but not required.
Schedule:
10 – 11 am | Presentation by Agricultural Business Management Field Specialist, Jesse Wright
11 am – 1 pm | Optional Work Session – stay for a little bit or the whole time!
Feel free to bring whatever you need to be comfortable, including your own lunch or snack. It is recommended to bring a laptop, notebook and any applications you are working on or interested in applying for. If you have technology needs, such as access to a computer, please reach out to Jesse Wright for assistance.
