Weathering Change: Efficient Irrigation for New Farmers

If you have a high tunnel, you need irrigation. Additionally, with parts of New Hampshire still being in a drought, it’s become more important to have irrigation for your crops. Drip irrigation is a great way to minimize disease, conserve water usage, and ensure your crops receive ample amount of moisture.

Join us for a workshop on how to install a drip irrigation system. Find out how to design and construct an irrigation system, what materials are needed, best practices for water management, maintaining and troubleshooting a system, and how to take advantage of drip irrigation to grow healthy and productive plants. This workshop will include a hands-on demonstration of setting up a drip irrigation system in a high tunnel.

This event will be held in the tunnel behind the farmstand, which is across the street from the office building at the Grafton County Complex. Please dress appropriately.
