The guide was created by a collaboration of tree fruit specialists in all six New England states, and is intended for commercial farmers. It provides information on pest management practices for tree fruit crops in New England, including apples, pears, peaches, plums, apricots and cherries. Both chemical and non-chemical pest control measures are suggested. Whenever possible, the use of integrated pest management (IPM) practices is encouraged. The online version of the guide is hosted by our colleauges at UMAss Extension.
Contact any of our tree fruit or pest management specialists for details regarding specific crops.
