Seacoast SeaPerch Volunteer Page

Volunteers make the Seacoast Seaperch Challenge happen. Below you will find information on different volunteer roles and registering to be a volunteer.

The different volunteer positions include:

Course Judges ‐ Stand at the edge of the pool with a stopwatch and clipboard and record the results of the competitors. Half day and full day shifts available.

Technical Volunteer ‐ Check ROV's for technical compliance.  Confirm build specs and alterations that may have made, and be available to students at the triage station during the competition for repairs.

Pool assistant ‐ Don't mind getting wet? Help us out in the pool.  Set up the course hardware and rescue stray ROV's. Half day and full day shifts available.

Poster Competition Judge – Judge posters and student presentations that explain design process and choices for the ROV build. Half day and full day shifts available.

General assistant ‐ Help out with registration, scoring and anything else to help the day run smoothly.

Full day volunteers will receive lunch, and a Seacoast SeaPerch t-shirt.
