Come join us for a presentation on the history of Brookdale Farm and the various fruits and vegetables grown on the farm. Learn about the process of growing & cross breeding apples. There will be a taste test of the various types of apples. We will also offer some major facts about apples! After learning about apples, families will be given a bag to pick a free bushel. Apple recipes will be available that 4-H members can use to take part in the Apple Desert Challenge project on their own time by by baking a cake, apple crisp, pie etc. and then entering it into the Makers Expo or 4-H Presents! Activities Day.
