Non-native upland invasive plants pose a serious threat to NH’s natural environment. This training is designed to provide attendees with a foundation on how to conduct effective upland invasive plant management. Topics covered will include an overview of weed ecology and wildlife habitat considerations, identification, state regulations and initiatives, management techniques, planning resources, and available tools.
This training is designed for people with a strong interest and some experience in natural resources stewardship, including foresters, land trust staff, natural resource professionals, municipal staff, private landowners, and active community volunteers.
Credits: 6.0 SAF Category 1 CFEs; 5.0 Pesticide Recertification Credits
Cost: $15 per person; registration is required.
