Calling all sky watchers and star gazers! Do you have an interest in learning about the mysteries of the night sky and sharing that knowledge with others? 
 

This training session will be for those who are interested in sharing their passion for stargazing with others via Star Parties.  

This training event will cover the basics of... 

  • Constellation identification  
  • Naked eye observing
  • How to identify planets
  • How to tell the difference between a star and a planet 
  • Binocular observing  
  • Basic telescope skills  

No previous astronomy or telescope experience or knowledge is necessary.

  • New 4-H Volunteers 
  • Current 4-H Volunteers 
  • Anyone interested in learning how to share the night sky with others  

If you want to share your passion but don’t know who to share it with, we can help you with that too! NH 4-H is interested in harnessing your experience to host Star Parties around the state. Contact megan.glenn@unh.edu if you are interested.
