Join us Friday June 7th from 4-6 pm, in-person or virtually, for a discussion and presentations on forest carbon in the northeast. Matt Kelly, Extension's Cheshire County Forester, Gabe Roxby, NH NRCS, and Charles Levesque, Securing Northeast Forest Carbon Program, will present and lead a discussion on forest carbon science, forest management considerations, and forest carbon markets in the northeast.

Field Trips

Forest carbon field trips will be offered in Coos and Carroll Counties on June 8th, and in Grafton County on June 15th. These field trips will offer folks the opportunity to discuss forest ecology, forest carbon dynamics and climate change’s impact on our forests. We’ll examine how our forests sequester & store carbon and learn how management can influence forest carbon and many other resources we value in New Hampshire forests. Directions and field trip details will be emailed to registrants prior to the trip.
