Making Pickles: The Cucumber to Pickle Project at Cornucopia Project Farm

How about learning how to take your cucumbers and turn them into pickles!!! A delicious vegetable (technically a fruit!) into a delicious snack! If you joined the challenge from the start and have been growing cucumbers all summer then now is the time to harvest them and bring them to the workshop or if you just want to learn how to make them register now & attend the workshop from 11:00am-12:30pm on Friday August 9th at the Cornucopia Project Farm at 49 Vose Farm Road in Peteborough, NH. All supplies will be provided. Even if you did not attend one of the previous workshops in June, you can join in now. Bring a friend, neighbor, or family member all will be welcome. 4-H will share information and recipes. Participants will be invited to enter a jar of pickles into the Hillsborough County Fair.
