4-H Mission Maple Challenge 2025

-
Mixed Online/In-Person

OVERVIEW

Enrollment is open through ZSuites

We have a mission for you, should you decide to accept it! Mission Maple Challenge is underway!

Your job is to complete every challenge while taking photos of your missions and filling out the sections of the Passport after each and every Mission!  Some Missions will challenge you positively mentally, physically, and emotionally.

There are four missions you can tap into:

Mission 1 – Take a hike and find and identify as many maple trees as you can and take a photo and list the place you found them.

Mission 2 – Visit one local Maple Sugaring House in NH and learn how they make Maple Syrup.

Mission 3 – Take the Maple Syrup Taste Test by trying a variety of Maple Syrups on your Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast or any type of food you enjoy.

Mission 4 – Try and tap your own tree and make your own Maple Syrup.

Complete the missions, fill out your passport and send it back to the Belknap County 4-H office for a patch!

The Challenge runs from February 14, 2025 to April 30, 2025. Register through ZSuite or by contacting your county 4-H office.

HOW THE CHALLENGE OPERATES:

  1. Complete the first 3 missions in the passport.

  1. Capture photos to demonstrate your participation.

How it works:

You must complete the first 3 missions!

Mission 4 is optional because it requires parents' guidance and help if you want to try tapping and making your own maple syrup, but it is not a requirement.

If you can complete the first three missions and send your passport back the Belknap County 4-H Office, you will receive a special limited time Mission Maple Patch!
