Darrel Covell
Darrel grew up in northern New Hampshire (Pittsburg) and enjoys many outdoor activities. He and his wife, Amy, live in Madbury. They have three sons.
Darrel received a BS in Wildlife Management from UNH and a Master's degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Wisconsin. After many years in the wildlife profession, and a stint as the Wildlife Extension State Specialist for UNH, Darrel became Forestry and Wildlife Program Leader in 2006, then Director of Finances in 2011.
He continues to enjoy the outdoors in his non-work time, and loves helping the people of New Hampshire through his Extension work. Keeping UNH Cooperative Extension thriving financially so that we can best address the needs of the state is his number one goal now.
