This program has been cancelled. When rescheduled the event will reflect the new date.

Want to end your school year and start your summer with tools to support your mental wellness? Enjoy meeting new people, while learning new tools and techniques, all from the comfort of your home?

We’re inviting teens, ages 13-18, to join us for our three-week mindfulness series where we’ll use a mixture of virtual learning coupled with independent, self-paced activities. Participants will receive a Mindful Mechanics Journal Workbook as well as materials to complete select activities from the mindfulness curriculum. We’ll use our weekly meetings as an opportunity for participants to learn new skills and reflect on their own mindfulness journey in a safe and supportive environment.

Cost:  $10/person             Limited to 20 participants          Registration closes May 22nd

Session 1: Introduction to Mindfulness and Guided Meditation
We’ll cover foundational terminology and introduce meditation in a variety of forms that best fit you and your busy schedule.

Session 2: Identifying Emotions
Identifying what you’re feeling as well as how it impacts your behavior is what we’ll explore in this session using hands-on activities turned into tools to support your ‘emotional regulation.’

Session 3: Stress Management and Action Planning
In this last session, we’ll discuss the impact of stress and identify mindfulness strategies to support our emotional wellbeing by creating our own mental wellness action plan.
