Since 2021, the U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program has provided a pathway for hemp production in New Hampshire. Join us on August 13th for a field meeting at Full Moon Farm where we will explore resinous field hemp production. Full Moon Farm is a husband and wife team, selling their products direct market from their farm stand where they also specialize in cut flowers and wedding bouquets. Full Moon Farm focuses on value-added resinous hemp, not fiber or grain hemp, which are different cultivars with different growing practices. They produce salves, balms, and other body products for direct sale. The farm will share lessons learned from adding this crop to their product mix, and how they integrate ecological practices as their primary IPM tool.
Due to time constraints, we won't be talking about licensing and regulatory requirements in depth at this event. Attendees are encouraged to learn more about these topics here: Vermont 2022 Hemp Webinar (29:25)
