Join in the first Sullivan County Farm Day!
UNH Extension in Sullivan County has partnered with Sullivan County’s 4-H Program, Sullivan County Conservation District, Claremont Growers Collective, and NH Farm Bureau to create an event to be enjoyed by the whole family. Experience a sampling of products, tours, and activities from local farms around Sullivan County and celebrate a sampling of the rich bounty from the Sugar River Region!
Individuals and families are invited to attend an open house style format at participating locations throughout the county. Meet animals, taste locally produced foods, watch demonstrations, tour various operations, and enjoy other activities.
Participating farms include Bascom Farm, Bascom Road Blueberry Farm, Beaver Pond Farm, Cat Swamp Farm, Dancing Bear Farm, Five Sisters Farm, Hilltop Farm, King Blossom Farm, Long View Farm, Parnassus Farm, and the Urban Agriculture Project.
Visit five or more participating farms to be entered into a drawing for a basket filled with local products. These products have been generously donated by Bascom Road Blueberry Farm, Cat Swamp Farm, Dancing Bear Farm, Edgewater Farm, Five Sisters Farm, Hemingway Farms, Heirloom Gourmet at King Blossom Farm, Hilltop Farm, Harding Hill Farm and MacGlaflin Farm. More items are expected to be added before the drawing.
