Social media is a powerful marketing tool for farmers, growers, and agricultural businesses to connect with customers, build brand loyalty, and drive sales. This five-week course is designed to help farmers confidently navigate Instagram and Facebook—sharing their stories, marketing their products, and growing their businesses—all while keeping their time spent online manageable.
This interactive course will guide participants through key aspects of social media marketing, from goal setting to content creation, analytics, and emerging trends. Led by hosts Jesse Wright and Marlana Trombley, participants will develop a clear, actionable social media strategy tailored to their farm, with practical tools and expert feedback.
We’ll meet online on five consecutive Thursday evenings starting March 6, 2025. As a bonus, we’re offering two additional classes, one covering social media burnout and another, a post-course check-in to ensure you're putting your learnings into action.
There will also be optional, weekly work sessions where you can collaborate with others online, apply what you’ve learned in real time, and ask questions as they arise—with guidance from Jesse or Marlana.
Thanks to grant funding, this course is free for NH farmers who are interested in learning how to effectively use social media for marketing and want to create a social media strategy AND put it to use! With only 30 spots available, priority will be given to those who can:
