This webinar session will discuss considerations for managing weeds in no-till systems and in fields sown to cover crops. Topics will include changes in weed emergence with cover crops, cover crop burndown treatments, how cover crops affect herbicide efficacy, and specific recommended management practices.
Our guest speaker will be John Wallace, Assistant professor of Weed Science and Extension Specialist in field and forage crop systems at Penn State University. John’s Extension and Research program focuses on developing integrated weed control tactics and systems-based approaches for weed management with conservation agriculture and organic field crop production systems.
