Backpack sprayers are inexpensive, lightweight, easy to use, and perfectly suited to small jobs on the farm or in the landscape. In this course, we will discuss how to properly calibrate a backpack sprayer, nozzle design and nozzle choices, the difference between gasoline powered equipment and hand pumped, and accurately measuring the amount of pesticides needed for a job.
