The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition has developed an easy-to-use flowchart to help food businesses and food processors determine whether or not their business needs to comply with some or all of the Preventive Controls Rule of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).  Scroll down to page 4 for the section that deals with the Preventive Controls Rule.

UNH Cooperative Extension's FSMA team has also developed two online resources to help businesses determine if they are covered by this rule.  We strongly encourage you to use all three tools, and contact a member of our team if you do not get the same answer from all three tools.
