4-H Clubs in Strafford County

Strafford County 4-H has a wide variety of club project areas available to youth and families. From shooting sports to arts and expression to STEM, there is something for everyone. Below is a list of the clubs that are active during the 2020-2021 program year. If your child sees a club that is interesting please contact your county 4-H office at CE.Strafford@unh.edu.  

Shooting Sports Club. Ages 9-18. Meets the 1st and 4th Saturday of the month 8:00-12:00 in Barrington at Major Waldron's. 

COVID-19 Update: The Shooting Sports Club is currently not meeting. Will meet again in September, 2021.

Club enrollment is an annual event which takes place on the 1st and 4th Saturday of September .

Sewing and Textiles. Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in Durham from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.  This club is perfect for any skill level, starting with youth who have never sewn, to those looking to advance their skills.  Recommended ages 8 - 18.

General Interest Homeschool Club. Ages 5-18.  Meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in Durham.

This middle school and high school age club varies topics as interests develop. Members support each other in projects for County Activity Day, Stratham Fair, and other 4-H events. We meet online and in person. COVID 19 Update: our club is meeting virtually and maintaining current projects.

The club will meet once per month offering a different activity at each meeting. New 4-Hers, independent members and other club members are welcomed to join. The club meets one Wednesday per month.

Meets Sunday afternoons at varying locations in Strafford County. Ages 5-18.

Strafford and Carroll County 4-H have teamed together to create this new Tween & Teen Club.  Youth ages 11 - 18 are welcomed to join.  

Livestock club focusing on sheep management including raising and showing sheep.  Ages 8-18.  Meets once per month in Durham. Club members must own their own sheep or lease a sheep in order to participate.
