:Fuel up to Play Grants -Funding opportunities are available to any qualified K‐12 school enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60. Sponsored by the National Dairy Council, state and regional Dairy Councils and other supporting organizations, the competitive, nationwide funding program provides money — up to $4,000 per year, per school — to jumpstart healthy changes. School Garden Grants

The Klorane Botanical Foundation is committed to supporting programs to teach respect for the environment and protect nature through the preservation of plant species and biodiversity. Designed to further their mission, the Budding Botanist Grant will help our youngest citizens learn about plants, explore their world and inspire them to take care of the life they discover in their local ecosystems.

Title 1 public and private schools in the US are eligible to apply. Check yearly for grants.

 

The Youth Garden Grant is open to any nonprofit organization, public or private school, or youth program in the United States or US Territories planning a new garden program or expanding an established one. If your program serves at least 15 youth between the ages of 3 and 18, we encourage you to apply.

 

The Carton 2 Garden Contest, sponsored by Evergreen Packaging, is open to public and private schools. Contest winners will be selected based on their implementation of an innovative garden creation featuring creative and sustainable uses for repurposed milk and juice cartons. Your school can get started by collecting at least 100 empty cartons from your home, community, or cafeteria. Learn more about Carton 2 Garden.

 

The Gro More Good Grassroots Grant, brought to you by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation and KidsGardening, will once again be awarded in 2020. This grant will open in January 2020, but you can learn more about the requirements and awards.

 

Salad Bars to School

A salad bar at school means kids have the choice of fresh vegetables and fruit for lunch throughout the school year. Kids with access to a salad bar in their school cafeteria not only put more fruits and veggies on their plates, they actually eat them!
