The Town of Antrim, New Hampshire conducted a two-day community visioning session on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14, 2023. A total of six hours was devoted to engaging with the community on a variety of topics. The goal of the meeting was to have an opportunity to engage residents, stakeholders, and community members in the planning process.
The forum utilized the “open space” concept for generating ideas and facilitation. The open space concept is a facilitation technique used to create a dynamic and participant-driven community forum. It provides a platform for people to come together and discuss topics of interest, share ideas, and collaborate on projects in a self-organizing and inclusive manner.
