ACTIVITY IDEAS:

Make maple playdough! Use this recipe and add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup with brown food coloring.
Fantastic Playdough
- 2 cups of flour
- 4 tsp of cream of tartar
- 1 cup of salt
- 2 cups of boiling water
- 4 tbsp of oil
- Mix all the dry ingredients. Add in the wet ingredients and stir until playdough is done.
- *Add a few drops of color or essential oils if desired.
Invite your child to smell, touch, and taste maple syrup.
Make pancakes together and pour on maple syrup.
Go for a walk outside and look for maple trees. Can you see if any sap is coming from the maple tree? Maybe you could try tapping one for yourself!
