UNH Extension Master Gardeners are active across the state. You may see them working on educational garden projects at schools, nursing homes, food pantries, historic museums and more. They might be sharing their knowledge at Farmers Market booths, during presentations for libraries or garden clubs. You can also speak with a Master Gardener or send a question to the Extension Info Line where they answer questions about home gardens and yards.

Projects must have an educational focus.

Presentation topics include: Composting, Container Gardening, Growing a Pollinator Garden, Herb Gardening, Putting the Garden to Bed (best in the fall), Seed Starting (best in late winter, spring) and Vegetable Gardening.

If you would like a Master Gardener to speak or assist with a project, please contact Master Gardener Coordinator, Ruth Smith
