Strafford County Adds a Forester to the Team
Rebecca DiGirolomo is the new forester in the Strafford County Extension office. DiGirolomo received her master’s degree at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse, New York. She worked in forestry-related positions for a number of state and federal agencies in Massachusetts and most recently served as the Conservation Project Manager at the Monadnock Conservancy in Keene, New Hampshire. Rebecca will be based in Strafford County but will also service landowners and communities in Belknap County. She plans to focus on helping to develop programming for small woodlot owners and will represent UNHCE on the NH Prescribed Fire Council.
