New Hampshire is sending four 4-H teens to participate in the National 4-H Healthy Living Summit in February, 2018. At the summit held in Chevy Chase, MD, the four teens will explore current issues focused on nutrition, emotional well-being, physical activity and wellness. Christina Asher of Coös County, Chryssabella Craig of Cheshire County, and Eric Robicheau and Skye Robicheau of Sullivan County were selected through the Marketing You process involving resume development and interviews this past June.  They will come back to New Hampshire with a mini-grant to create a community action plan. This plan will teach other youth and community members what they learned.

Extension Field Specialist and State 4-H Healthy Living Liaison Heidi Barker will serve as the team’s advisor on the trip and back in the Granite State. The 4-H Foundation of New Hampshire provided funding for this opportunity.
