UNH Extension volunteers are at work in every community in New Hampshire.

They are tackling natural resource conservation, helping researchers, working to grow leaders, and be leaders in their communities. They help teach nutrition, and provide educational programming in gardening, backyard stewardship, and STEM education.

In 2018, a new record 5,481 Extension volunteers contributed over 200,000 hours of volunteer time to New Hampshire. Chances are, you might know a UNH Extension volunteer in your own community. If so, be sure to thank them for their amazing contributions to New Hampshire's quality of life.
