Melissa Lee joins Extension as a field specialist for youth and families. She most recently worked for the NH State Department of Education in the Bureau of Student Wellness. Prior to that she worked for a number of years out of Franklin Regional Hospital as a community health improvement specialist. Melissa said she is "thrilled to have the opportunity to join the team and to collaboratively develop strategies to help NH's youth and families thrive and find meaningful connection to community. I've had the pleasure of working with UNH Cooperative Extension staff over the past fifteen years while in different local community roles. I learned so much from my experiences with the staff and am excited to now be a part of the team myself!”
Michael Young, program team leader for youth and families, said, "I am so glad to have someone with Melissa’s community-based work experience, state-level connections and locally-oriented commitment on our team."
