Mike Harris has accepted the position of Belknap County 4-H program manager in Laconia.
Harris has served well as the 4-H program manager in Rockingham County over the past six years, providing leadership, innovation and stability to volunteers and families. He also served New Hampshire 4-H at Barry Conservation Camp for a season, helped launch and expand the Wildside Challenges statewide, led volunteer sessions on facilitating empathy and understanding in conflicting moments and, overall, has been a positive advocate for youth development.
Harris is looking forward to engaging with 4-H youth in stewardship of the beautiful natural resources of Belknap County and the creative and innovative youth and families of Belknap County. He is thankful for the great programmatic foundation that Karen Deighan has created in the county and anticipates continued partnership with her in programming around the lake in Carroll County!
Harris will continue to bring his positive spirit, his energetic approach to life, his innovative problem solving and his deep devotion to the Celtics to his new professional role a little closer to home.
Authentic partnerships and quality engagements together to benefit youth motivate Mike each and every day in his job responsibilities.
